The first question I asked myself when I started reading ”The Epic of Gilgamesh” was: ”Who is he?”.
Well, let’s start from here … Gilgamesh the word is an epithet, meaning MESH-Gilg, or “The Messiah returns to earth cycle.”Derived from the Aramaic-Akkadian MSH (Messiah) and theAramaic word GLGL (Rotate).
